BIKING ACROSS CANADA FOR CANCER | Bicycle Trek for Life & Breath
Dave Livingstone and Maxine Bowen will be cycling across Canada to raise funds for the Lung Association for research into all forms of lung disease inclusive of lung cancer. They will be leaving May 8th and finish in Vancouver in time to join the annual 200km BC Lung Trek for Life on Sept 10, 2005. Having both lost a partner to cancer, this trip is a life dream for Dave (63) and Maxine (48).
The whole trek will be documented through a website Blog (diary) at www.BicycleTrek.org . The Blog will cover the planning for the trip and the gory details of the trip itself. Dave and Maxine will stop off at Internet Cafes to document their trip as it happens. The more media coverage and awareness for the ride, the more donations they will generate.
